The Five Marks of Mission
- To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
- To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
- To respond to human need by loving service
- To seek to transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence of every kind and pursue peace and reconciliation
- To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth
To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
Always be ready to make your defence to anyone who demands from you an account of the hope that is in you; 1 Peter 3:15
To teach, baptise and nurture new believers
Let the word of Christ* dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. Colossians 3.16:
To respond to human need by loving service
Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16
