Caring for You

Pastoral Care in our Community

We are called to offer emotional and spiritual support to ALL those around us and we strive to maintain inclusiveness and love in all we do.

If you need someone to talk to, to pray with or to provide support we will do our best to assist. Please contact us to arrange a time for a chat…

Home & Hospital Visiting

There is an active group of parishioners who with the clergy meet regularly to plan pastoral visits and to encourage each other in this vital work.

If you wish to arrange a visit at home, in an aged facility or hospital please contact us by phone or email.

Home Communion

There are times in our lives when attendance at Sunday or weekday worship is difficult for health or reasons of disability. In our parish, the Parish Priest or a number of pastoral visitors are accredited to administer the Blessed Sacrament (Holy Communion) when they visit you in your home. Please call the Parish Priest to arrange this.

Prayer

The Prayer Chapel at the River Street end of St John's is open from 9am – 5pm most days for private prayer and reflection.

If you would like us to pray for you, please review the Prayer section in PRAYER & SACRAMENTS

If you would like any assistance with Prayer, please contact Fr Peter Tinney
